John Date 4” diameter, 3 cylinder air pump out of wood chest. This pump will supply a liberal quantity of air for one diver working at a depth of 102 feet. Total weight, 535 pounds.

John Date standard 40 pound divers’ boots.

The John Date Diving Company was the only diving company that produced diving helmets in Canada from the early 1800’s and onwards, and was located at 383 Concord St unit 5 in Montreal in the province of Quebec. Little information is known about this company but it is well established that they were producers of one of the worlds finest diving helmets.

John Date,  John Date Registered,  John Date Maker,  John Date Limited, and John Date Diving Equipment Co. were all names used throughout its’ history.
